The most endangered bird in North America is the Attwater's prairie fowl. This is because of the loss of habitat and overhunting. Fossil Rim’s Attwater Prairie Chicken Initiative is focused on rebuilding the wild population through a breeding and release program. I got to learn about and help this endangered species.
